- what information and documents JustCo may require;
- how Virtual Office transfers may require additional checks; and
- when processing time or charges may apply.
When do I need a formal membership transfer?
You may need a formal transfer if you want the legal owner of the Membership Agreement to change from one person or company to another.
For example, this may apply if:
- an employee originally signed the membership, but the company now wants to take ownership of it;
- the membership needs to be transferred from one company to another; or
- the agreement holder needs to change from one individual to another.
Is this the same as changing the Primary Member or account administrator?
No. Changing the Primary Member or account administrator only changes who can manage the membership in the JustCo Store or App.
It does not change the legal owner of the Membership Agreement.
What information will JustCo need?
The exact requirements may vary by market and product, but JustCo will usually need:
- the membership or licence agreement number;
- the centre or address stated in the agreement;
- details of the current agreement holder, including Name, Address, Business Registration Number (if applicable), Email Address and Phone Number;
- details of the new agreement holder, including Name, Address, Business Registration Number (if applicable, Email Address and Phone Number;
- supporting identity or company registration documents (eg. ACRA registration, Utility Bill with matching First & Last Name); and
- updated billing contact details, where applicable.
Will there be any verification checks?
Yes. In all cases, JustCo will need to carry out identity, company, or customer verification checks in line with applicable local regulatory requirements before the transfer can be completed.
Are there additional requirements for Virtual Office memberships?
Yes. Virtual Office memberships may be subject to additional customer verification and regulatory checks under applicable local laws (such the Corporate Service Providers Act 2024 in Singapore).
In such cases, the transfer may only be processed, confirmed, or completed after all required checks have been successfully completed.
How long does the process take?
The transfer can only be processed after all required information, documents, and signed paperwork have been received.
Processing time may vary by market, product, and any required verification or approval steps.
Will there be a charge?
Depending on the market, product, and transfer type, administrative charges may apply.
Any applicable charges will be communicated during the process.
Can the transfer take effect immediately?
No. A requested effective date of at least 7 days is required, and additional lead time may be needed for document review, verification, approval, and system processing.
