Can I register my business at a JustCo Taiwan address?

JustCo Support Services -

In Taiwan, registering a business at a JustCo address depends on government quotas and building rules that vary by location — for Private Office, Dedicated Desk (Monthly), Hot Desk (Monthly) and Virtual Office alike. It's your responsibility to check you qualify before you buy. JustCo doesn't check this for you, and purchases aren't refundable if your registration is later refused.

What you'll learn in this article

  • why business registration in Taiwan isn't guaranteed by buying any of these memberships;
  • what kinds of restrictions can apply;
  • whose responsibility it is to check eligibility before buying; and
  • what happens if your registration is later found ineligible.

Why isn't registration guaranteed?

Each building in Taiwan has a government quota that limits how many businesses can register there. Some landlords add their own rules on top of this. Some floors only allow one business per industry to register.

These rules are set by the government and by landlords — not by JustCo — and can change over time. This applies whether you're buying a Private Office, Dedicated Desk (Monthly), Hot Desk (Monthly) or Virtual Office membership. So buying any of these does not, on its own, guarantee you can register your business at that address.

What kinds of restrictions can apply?

  • Registration quota: a government cap on how many businesses can register at that centre.
  • Landlord rules: some landlords set extra restrictions of their own.
  • Floor-level rules: some buildings allow only one business per industry on a floor.

These can differ between centres, and change over time as quota is used up.

Whose responsibility is it to check?

It's your responsibility to check that your business qualifies before you buy. Contact the relevant government authority directly to confirm. JustCo does not carry out this check for you.

This is different from KYC verification, which JustCo does carry out. KYC checks who you are — your business's identity, directors and beneficial owners. It doesn't check whether you're eligible to register at a specific address.

If you're not sure whether you qualify, check this FAQ, use our chat, or speak with our Sales team before you buy. Once you've completed your purchase, we treat this as confirmed on your side.

What if my registration is later refused?

If your business turns out not to qualify — because of quota, landlord rules, or floor-level restrictions — you'll need to sort this out yourself, for example by registering elsewhere. JustCo isn't liable for this. We won't offer a refund or adjust your Membership Term because of it.

This also applies if you're asked to change your registered address or move out as a result.
