Once a Membership Term has commenced, it's a committed period for its full duration — this applies across all JustCo membership products, per the applicable Terms & Conditions.
What you'll learn in this article
- how a Membership Term works, and why it's a committed period;
- what cancellation actually does (and doesn't do); and
- what to do if your circumstances change before your term ends.
How your Membership Term works
A Membership Term — whether Monthly Recurring or a Fixed Membership — is a committed period for its full duration once it has commenced, across all our membership products. There isn't an option to end it early for convenience, so it's worth confirming your plans before committing to a term.
Isn't that what cancellation is for?
Not quite. A Cancellation Notice stops your membership from renewing or continuing into its next term — it doesn't end your current term early. Submitting a Cancellation Notice mid-term doesn't entitle you to a refund, and fees for the current term remain payable in full. See Cancellation and Non-Renewal Policy for details.
What if my circumstances change before my term ends?
We understand plans can change — for example, a change in headcount or office needs. Your membership, and the fees for it, continue for the remainder of your committed term regardless of usage. If your needs are shifting, it's worth speaking with us early: while we can't shorten your current term, we may be able to help you plan for your next renewal or discuss other options for your account.
