How do I purchase a Virtual Office on JustCo Store?

A JustCo Virtual Office is purchased entirely online through JustCo Store. You select your Home Centre, membership term and Service Start Date, pay the full membership fee upfront, and your Membership Agreement is created immediately. Verification (KYC) then takes place before your membership becomes active.

Before you start

You will need basic company details to complete your purchase, including your registered business name. Full company verification (KYC) is not required at checkout yet — this happens as a separate step after payment. JustCo Virtual Office is currently available in Singapore, Australia and Malaysia with term lengths of 6, 12, 18 and 24 months.

Virtual Office is designed to work the same way in every market. However, some markets have local rules that can affect whether a Virtual Office is right for your business:

  • Registered address eligibility. In some countries, certain regulated industries — for example, travel agencies and employment or staffing agencies in Taiwan — are legally required to operate from a clearly distinguishable, physically separated operating area, and are not eligible to register at a shared address such as a Virtual Office. Some countries also limit how many businesses can hold a registered or tax address at the same location.
     
  • KYC requirements and processing time. We are required to carry out KYC before providing Virtual Office services in certain markets. Subject to the completion of the relevant forms and provision of all supporting documents, verification should be completed within 7 days in most cases but it may take longer if your submission is incomplete — see What is KYC and why is it required for Virtual Office? for more detail.

You're responsible for confirming that a Virtual Office meets your company's registration and compliance needs before you purchase. JustCo is not liable for registration outcomes and cannot refund a purchase on the basis that your Virtual Office could not be used for a particular registration or licence.

 

Steps to purchase

  1. Choose your Home Centre 
    Select the JustCo centre that will host your business address. This becomes your Home Centre for mail handling and your monthly Hot Desk (Day) pass.
     
  2. Select your Membership Term and Service Start Date 
    Choose the length of your Virtual Office Membership Term and your preferred Service Start Date. Your Service Start Date must be at least 7 days after your purchase date — this builds in time to complete KYC verification before your service is due to begin. Your Service End Date is then set automatically based on your term.
     
  3. Complete checkout 
    Pay the full membership fee for your entire Membership Term. This is a single upfront payment, not a monthly charge. Your Membership Agreement is created as soon as payment is successful.

     

  4. Complete verification (KYC) 
    You will receive an automated email with instructions on the documents required. The sooner you provide everything requested, the sooner your address can be activated — ideally by your Service Start Date. See Your Service Start Date, Activation Date and Service End Date below.

     

When and how much am I charged?

The full membership fee for your entire Membership Term is charged at checkout, upfront. There is no monthly instalment for the base membership fee.

If you incur additional usage charges during your membership, these are billed separately, on the 9th of each month. Usage charges can include things like:

  • meeting room or event space bookings, charged per 30-minute block;
  • additional Hot Desk (Day) passes beyond your one complimentary pass per month; and
  • any optional add-ons you have added to your membership — a dedicated phone number and call answering ($70/month + $50 setup fee) or administrative support ($15 per 15 minutes);

Two separate charges to expect: your Virtual Office membership fee (charged once, upfront, at checkout) and any additional usage charges (billed monthly, on the 9th, only if incurred).

 

What happens immediately after payment?

Your Membership Agreement (MA) is created as soon as payment is successful. This confirms your purchase, your Service Start Date, your Service End Date, and your Membership Term.
 

If your KYC verification cannot be completed at all or if we have assessed in our sole discretion that you do not meet our internal risk and compliance requirements, your Membership Agreement is cancelled and any payment collected is refunded in full. This is different from a short delay in completing verification — see below.

 

Your Service Start Date, Activation Date and Service End Date

Three dates matter for your Virtual Office, and it helps to know how they relate to each other:

  • Service Start Date — the date you choose at checkout. It must be at least 7 days after your purchase date, giving you a window to complete KYC before your service is due to begin.
  • Service End Date — set automatically from your Service Start Date and your Membership Term. This does not change once your Membership Agreement is created.
  • Activation Date — the date your Virtual Office actually goes live, once KYC verification is successfully completed.

For Singapore and Australia, we aim to complete your KYC verification before your Service Start Date, so that your Activation Date and Service Start Date fall on the same day. The best way to help this happen is to submit everything we ask for as early as possible and respond promptly to any follow-up requests.

 

If verification takes a little longer: your Service Start Date and Service End Date do not move. Your Membership Term stays exactly as agreed — you'll simply have fewer active days within it, starting from whenever your Activation Date falls. Completing your KYC promptly is the best way to make full use of every day in your term.

 

JustCo is not liable for delays in completing KYC verification, and no refunds or adjustments to your Membership Term are made on this basis. If verification cannot be completed at all or if we have assessed in our sole discretion that you do not meet our internal risk and compliance requirements, see the note above about cancellation and refund.
