Learn when cancellation or non-renewal must be submitted, what happens if a request is late, and when a membership or booking remains chargeable.
The Cancellation and Non-Renewal Policy explains how to stop a membership from continuing, and what happens if cancellation is submitted after the applicable deadline.
Essentials
- If you want to stop a renewable membership from continuing, a Cancellation Notice must be submitted before the end of the current Membership Term.
- A cancellation request submitted after the applicable cut-off is too late.
- Once the next applicable term has started, that term remains fully chargeable.
- Late cancellation does not undo, reverse, waive, or refund a renewed or continuing term.
- Reminder email delivery does not affect cancellation timing or policy application.
How this policy applies by product
This policy applies across JustCo Store products, but the way it applies may differ depending on the product type and the terms governing that booking or membership.
- Renewable memberships (for example, selected recurring or renewable membership products): cancellation or non-renewal must be submitted before the end of the current Membership Term.
- One-time bookings (for example, Hot Desk (Day), Meeting Rooms, Event Spaces): product-specific cancellation or refund rules apply instead of membership non-renewal rules.
- Products with specific agreement terms: the governing product terms and agreement will determine how cancellation applies.
How do I stop my membership from continuing?
To stop your membership from continuing into the next applicable term, a Cancellation Notice must be submitted before the end of your current Membership Term.
When is a cancellation request considered too late?
A cancellation request is too late if it is submitted after your current Membership Term has ended.
Once the current Membership Term has ended, the next term may already have started under the applicable renewal arrangement.
What happens if I submit my cancellation too late?
- Your membership will remain active for the renewed or continuing term.
- That term will remain fully chargeable.
- Your cancellation will only stop the next renewal or continuation after the current term ends.
Can a late cancellation be reversed or waived?
No. Once the next applicable term has started, that term is final and payable in full.
Cancellation, reversal, waiver, or refund of that term is not permitted simply because the request was submitted after the cut-off.
Does reminder email delivery affect cancellation rights?
No. Cancellation timing is determined by the governing agreement and the member’s action before the end of the current Membership Term.
It does not depend on whether a reminder email was received, opened, or read.
How do I avoid problems with cancellation?
Please review your membership details early and submit your cancellation before the end of your current Membership Term.
In the JustCo App, go to Admin > Membership Agreement to review your membership and select Cancel Plan in time.
