Should I choose Hot Desk (Daily) or Hot Desk (Monthly)?

JustCo Support Services -

Learn the difference between Hot Desk (Daily) and Hot Desk (Monthly), including the difference between Monthly Recurring and Fixed Membership plans.

Hot Desk (Daily) and Hot Desk (Monthly) are designed for different levels of coworking use.

What is Hot Desk (Daily)?

Hot Desk (Daily) is a one-day pass for one person at a designated JustCo centre.

It is generally more suitable when coworking access is needed only occasionally.

What is Hot Desk (Monthly)?

Hot Desk (Monthly) is an ongoing coworking membership for people who need more regular access.

Hot Desk (Monthly) is available in two plan types:

  • Monthly Recurring plan
  • Fixed Lease Membership plan of 3, 6, or 12 months

What is the difference between Monthly Recurring and Fixed Membership?

A Monthly Recurring plan continues on a month-to-month basis until it is cancelled in accordance with the applicable terms.

A Fixed Membership plan runs for a committed term of 3, 6, or 12 months.

When should I choose Hot Desk (Daily)?

Hot Desk (Daily) may be more suitable if:

  • coworking access is only needed occasionally;
  • a lower-commitment option is preferred; or
  • passes are needed that can be shared with team members before activation.

When should I choose Hot Desk (Monthly)?

Hot Desk (Monthly) may be more suitable if:

  • coworking access is needed on a regular basis;
  • an ongoing membership is preferred over one-day access; or
  • a more consistent arrangement is needed for frequent users.

When should I choose Monthly Recurring or Fixed Membership?

  • Monthly Recurring may be more suitable if more month-to-month flexibility is needed.
  • Fixed Membership may be more suitable if the membership is intended for a defined commitment period of 3, 6, or 12 months.

What are the key practical differences?

  • Hot Desk (Daily) is valid for one day only, at one designated centre.
  • Hot Desk (Monthly) is a membership with an ongoing term and billing structure.
  • Hot Desk (Monthly) may be taken as either a Monthly Recurring plan or a Fixed Membership plan.
  • Hot Desk (Daily) is often more suitable for infrequent, ad hoc use.
  • Hot Desk (Monthly) is often more suitable for regular use.

How should I decide?

If coworking access is only needed occasionally, Hot Desk (Daily) may be the better fit.

If coworking access is needed regularly, Hot Desk (Monthly) is usually the more suitable option.

Within Hot Desk (Monthly), choose Monthly Recurring if you need greater ongoing flexibility, or a Fixed Membership plan if you are ready to commit to a defined term.
