Learn the difference between renewing an existing membership and buying a new one, and why choosing the correct journey matters.
Renewing and buying a new membership are two different journeys in the JustCo App.
If you want to continue an existing membership, you should use the Renew Plan journey. If you want to create a separate new membership, you should use Add Services.
What is a renewal?
A renewal extends your existing membership.
To renew, go to Admin > Membership Agreement, select the relevant membership, and tap Renew Plan.
What is a new membership purchase?
A new membership purchase creates a separate new membership.
To buy a new membership, go to Home > Add Services and complete a new booking.
Why does this distinction matter?
- Renewal continues your existing membership.
- New membership purchase creates a separate new membership record.
- Renewal-only pricing or benefits apply only through the Renew Plan journey, where offered.
- A new membership purchase is not treated as a renewal.
Which journey should I use?
If your intention is to continue your current membership, use Renew Plan from your existing Membership Agreement.
If your intention is to purchase an additional or separate membership, use Add Services.
What if I accidentally buy a new membership instead of renewing?
Please review your intended action carefully before payment. A new membership purchase is separate from a renewal.
Important: Once confirmed, a new membership purchase is final and binding, and cannot be changed into a renewal, cancelled, reversed, or refunded.
