How do Hot Desk (Day) passes work?

Learn how Hot Desk (Day) passes work, including validity, access rules, transfer conditions, expiry, and what happens if a centre is full.

A Hot Desk (Day) pass gives one person access to a non-dedicated desk in a shared coworking area for one day, subject to availability and the applicable Terms.

 

What does a Hot Desk (Day) pass include?

  • Access for one person only.
  • Access to common coworking areas and unassigned desks at the designated JustCo centre only.
  • Multiple re-entry to the designated JustCo centre during Staffed Hours only.
  • Seating on a first-come, first-served basis.
  • Complimentary refreshments provided at the pantry area.

 

What is not included?

  • Private offices.
  • Meeting rooms, unless booked separately.
  • Reserved seating.
  • Access and re-entry during Unstaffed Hours.

 

How long is a Hot Desk (Day) pass valid for?

When you purchase a Hot Desk (Day) pass, it is valid for 90 days after purchase. During this period, you may activate the Day pass, or share it with your team members. Any unactivated Day passes will expire 90 days after purchase.

Once activated, a Day pass cannot be deactivated, and will be consumed by 6.00 pm on the same day. Upon activation, a Day pass is assigned to a specific centre and cannot be transferred.

Expired Day passes cannot be extended, reinstated, or refunded.

 

Where can I find and use my pass?

You can activate and manage your pass in the JustCo App under Me > My Keycards.

Can I transfer my pass to someone else?

Valid Hot Desk (Day) passes may only be transferred through the JustCo App, and only before the pass has been activated.

Once a pass has been activated, it cannot be transferred.

 

Can I bring guests?

Hot Desk (Day) users may not host guests in coworking areas. To meet visitors, please book a meeting room, or ensure each guest has their own valid Hot Desk (Day) pass.

 

What happens if the centre is full?

Seating is subject to availability. If the designated centre is full when you arrive, the Community Team may, where possible, direct you to the nearest available workspace.

As Hot Desk (Day) passes are activated for a specific centre and day, members are encouraged to check with the centre before activating their pass if they are concerned about availability.

Once activated, a Day pass is treated as used for that day and is generally not eligible for cancellation, extension, or refund.
